Verberate 2 Upgrade from Verberate: Algorithmic Reverb Plugin by Acon Digital Free Download

Verberate 2 includes two late reverb algorithms: the new Vivid Hall and the Legacy Hall from version 1. Vivid Hall is time-variant and resonance-free. Acon Digital says it models slight variations caused by air currents and moving performers, which become more audible toward the end of the tail, without chorus effects or pitch changes.

Early reflections and the reverberation tail are handled by independent processors, and the processing is true stereo. The early reflections are designed to blend into the mix without comb filter artifacts, and the late tails are described as dense.

The decay editor sets frequency-dependent reverb times, so high and low frequencies can decay at different rates. A graphical view shows the equalizer frequency response alongside these reverb times.

A Dispersion parameter models frequency dispersion in mechanical plate reverbs, where high frequencies travel faster than low ones. Combined with the decay editor, it can approximate the longer high-frequency decay of plate reverbs. A Swirl option models the frequency-modulated, cloud-like tails of vintage digital reverb units. An integrated output equalizer is also included.
