DeNoise 2 reduces noise such as hiss, wind noise, buzz and camera noise, either automatically in adaptive mode or from a measured noise profile. Its new dynamic noise profiles are designed for noise that changes over time, such as wind or lavalier rustle.

DeClick 2 removes clicks, crackle, thumps and plosives, detecting and restoring each separately. Acon Digital says its core algorithm now preserves transients better and can run at higher click sensitivities without artifacts. DeHum 2 targets hum and buzz from poorly grounded electrical equipment and adds an automatic fine-tune button to locate the fundamental frequency.

DeClip 2 reconstructs peaks distorted by analog or digital clipping, with separate upper and lower thresholds.

Each plugin includes a solo or residual mode so you can hear the signal being removed, which helps you judge how much of the wanted material you are losing. Graphical spectrum and noise profile displays help you set thresholds visually, and DeClip 2 lets you drag threshold handles directly on its level histograms.

M/S processing is available in DeNoise 2, DeClick 2 and DeHum 2, which Acon Digital says can reduce unwanted fluctuations in the stereo image.
