Reverb Algorithms, Decay Control and Plate Modeling
Verberate 2 pairs 15 algorithmic early reflection patterns with a late reverb tail. Two late reverb algorithms are available: the new Vivid Hall and the Legacy Hall from version 1. Vivid Hall is time-variant and resonance-free, and the early reflections and tail have independent processors.
A decay editor lets you set frequency-dependent reverb times, so you can shape how the tail behaves across the spectrum. An integrated output equalizer and a graphical display of the EQ response and frequency-dependent decay times help you see what the settings are doing.
For plate sounds, a Dispersion parameter models the faster travel of high frequencies in metal plates. Used together with the decay editor, it can recreate the longer high-frequency decay of plate reverbs. A Swirl parameter adds the frequency-modulated, cloud-like tails of vintage digital reverb units.
