01Overview

Neoverb is a reverb plugin built by iZotope and powered by Exponential Audio reverb engines. Its Blend Pad lets you combine three reverb types in one instance, while a Reverb Assistant adjusts size, style and tone settings in real time. The plugin also includes an EQ section that listens to your audio to help avoid mud, masking and artifacts. Blend Pad and Reverb Assistant Workflow

The Blend Pad mixes three reverb types at once: Reflections for realistic space, Plate for classic environments, and Hall for height and depth. Each reverb type has its own Size control, which helps with large guitar tones, drum rooms or more unusual spaces. The Blend Pad can be automated in your DAW to change blends during a song.

The Reverb Assistant works through a four-step process. You choose a Size and Style, and the plugin selects and blends reverb combinations and advanced settings as you move the sliders. Four Tone selections adjust the result toward darker, airier or brighter sounds.

Reverb EQ and Pre EQ Cleanup

The Pre EQ has three bands and an Auto Cut function that listens to the input signal and suggests areas to cut before the reverb is applied. Shelving and band filters can be adjusted manually.

The Reverb EQ includes a Masking Meter and an Unmask button that analyzes the dry signal so the reverb sits cleanly in the mix. Reverb Assistant can set up unmasking for you, or you can adjust it directly in the EQ window. The Advanced Panel offers deeper control over the parameters of each reverb engine.
