Insight 2 Educational Version is the student and teacher edition of iZotope's metering plugin. It brings a set of customizable meters into your session so you can watch loudness, levels, intelligibility, phase and frequency content while you mix or master. Any track in your DAW can be routed to it for analysis. Metering and Analysis Tools

Insight 2 offers a complete set of meters that can be displayed, resized and arranged to suit a session. Color-coded alerts give real-time visual feedback on problem areas.

The main window can be resized down to the size of a single meter, which is useful for keeping a loudness meter visible on a second screen. A Spectrogram shows audio on a 3D topographical plane, and the Sound Field meter shows how the channel spread of stereo or surround audio is distributed.

Loudness targets include EBU R128, BS.1770 and ATSC A/85, and the plugin now supports the Netflix loudness specification. Multichannel analysis goes up to Dolby Atmos 7.1.2.

Intelligibility Meter and iZotope Relay

The Intelligibility Meter is a newer addition aimed at dialogue. It indicates whether dialogue is likely to be overshadowed by the rest of the mix and lets you compare results across listening environments, from low to high noise.

To feed it audio, use the included iZotope Relay plugin on the tracks you want to analyze. Relay also lets you compare a track against the full mix on the Spectrogram and works with iZotope's Visual Mixer, which is not included with Insight 2 and is available separately in Neutron 2 Advanced.

What formats and operating systems does Insight 2 Educational Version support?
