It pairs recorded brass samples, from full orchestral brass to chamber horns and trumpets, with synth and sampling engines. Samples, synths and morphing in one instrument

The sample library covers full orchestral brass, chamber horns and trumpets, and tape-degraded sustains. Synth engines let you augment those sounds with virtual analog bass or the new Simpler engine, which is aimed at impacts and noise textures.

The Morph control sweeps changes across a sound, and quick-fire macros adjust key sonic characteristics. Together they let you move from a conventional brass tone to an experimental one without leaving the instrument.

Sound design controls and workflow

Sample and synth layers can be fine-tuned in one place, with custom modulation, arpeggiation, effects and macros. Arturia has updated the modulation workflow and visual feedback, and added individual part panning and keyboard offset. These changes apply to all Augmented instruments.

The library includes hundreds of presets, from familiar brass timbres to experimental sounds, which gives you a starting point before you edit the layers.
