Farfisa V recreates the upper manual, lower manual and bass pedal sections of the Farfisa Compact Deluxe, along with its percussion section, which has adjustable decay times. The bass section can be set to a 1 or 2 octave key range, and the Bass Sharp/Soft control moves its tone from flute-like to strings.

Beyond the original hardware, the plugin adds synthesizer features. You can draw additive and wave shapes with ToneDraw sliders, select a bass waveform with a 4-pole resonant filter, and shape upper-section attack and release envelopes. A knee lever controls tone or wah-style filtering through an expression pedal, mod wheel or aftertouch.

The signal chain includes classic stompbox-type modeled effects that can be reordered by drag and drop. A guitar amp simulator output and a convolution reverb with custom classic spring reverbs are also included. Tremolo and the Repeater can sync to your host tempo.

Farfisa V ships with 147 presets from sound designers, and the rig settings, including effects, are saved with each preset. The instrument can run polyphonic or paraphonic and supports MIDI splits.
