Modular V is Arturia's software recreation of a large modular synthesizer, the kind of instrument associated with early electronic and experimental music. The developer says it reproduces the original's modules in detail, including rare replicas such as the Bode frequency shifter and the 928 sample and hold. Modular V offers 9 oscillators, 2 LFOs, 3 filter slots, a noise generator, 6 envelopes and 2 VCAs, along with 16 auxiliary VCAs that have modulation inputs.
