Restoration tools and machine learning features
RX 12 Standard centers on audio restoration. iZotope describes the suite as offering a broad set of tools for fixing flaws in recordings. Among the new features, Stems View splits audio into stems through Scene Rebalance, Music Rebalance and Dialogue Isolate, so individual elements can be processed separately before everything is combined again for export.
De-bleed uses machine learning to remove unwanted signal bleed between sources, including bleed from headphone playback. Breath Control detects, reduces and removes breaths in vocals and speech. Music Rebalance adjusts individual mix elements in real time and can separate vocals, bass, percussion and other instruments from a finished mix, in offline or real-time modes.
