New features for audio restoration and mix repair

Stems View splits audio into stems through Scene Rebalance, Music Rebalance and Dialogue Isolate, so tools such as De-rustle and De-hum can target specific elements. When editing is finished, Stems View brings everything back together for export.

De-bleed has been rebuilt with machine learning, and iZotope says it can detect and remove even small amounts of bleed without a reference track. Breath Control has also been rebuilt to detect, reduce and remove breaths in vocals and speech.

Music Rebalance offers real-time adjustment of mix elements and source separation for vocals, bass, percussion and other instruments, offline or in real time.

Workflow and interface changes

The RX 12 interface has been redesigned with a larger spectrogram for finer edits, a new module search to find tools faster, and a resizable History panel to track edits. Dialogue Isolate has been upgraded with updated neural nets for both offline and real-time modes.
