Transient and Tonal Processing
Physion Mk II divides incoming audio into two streams. The transient stream is for attacks and percussive detail, and the tonal stream is for sustained and harmonic content. Each stream gets its own effect chain and output level control, so you can add reverb to a drum room without washing out the hit, or pitch-shift a vocal's body while leaving its consonants intact.
The underlying split can be adjusted directly for fine-tuning. Eventide describes the new filters as taken from SplitEQ, and the scrolling waveform display with a resizable interface keeps the controls visible while you work.
