01Overview

The H910 Harmonizer plugin is a software recreation of the H910, an early digital pitch shifter and delay processor. Its pitch changes can produce musical intervals for harmonies, slap-back echoes, detuning or self-oscillating drone textures. Eventide's version adds MIDI control, an envelope follower and a second delay output, and it models the analog signal path of the hardware. The plugin is available in VST3, VST2, AU and AAX formats.

Sound and Character of the H910 Pitch Shifter

The original H910 was known for its grit and quirks. Eventide models the highly nonlinear analog electronics of the hardware to reproduce that character. The original unit's pitch changes introduced random glitches and slight drift, which the plugin can emulate. The optional glitching adds unpredictable movement as the pitch changes.

Anti-Feedback modulates pitch around unity, so it can produce subtle or strong results. Self-oscillation lets you generate colorful sound effects and drones.

Controls, MIDI Mapping and Dual Delay Outputs

Pitch can be set manually, through MIDI control or with Anti-Feedback. Keyboard and MIDI mapping let you change pitch and harmonization in real time, and the envelope follower lets the input signal bend the pitch.

The OUT2 delay group gives you separate delay outputs with individual control over each output and the dry/wet mix. Mix Lock keeps the dry/wet balance constant while you scroll through presets or settings.
