Modular Routing and Core Processing
The gate removes signals below a set threshold, which Eventide suggests is useful for multi-miked drum kits or fret noise. The compressor alters the dynamics of the input and includes optional soft saturation and a de-esser. A sidechain input can trigger gain reduction on one track from another instrument, which is useful for making competing parts sit together.
FlexiPath routing sets the order of these processors, so you can place the gate, EQ and compressor in the sequence your session needs.
