Bass Control is aimed at balancing low-end energy so a master holds up across different playback systems. The Clarity and Impact modules add psychoacoustic clarity processing and control over microdynamics using envelope times. Transient/Sustain controls can be applied to any Ozone module to adjust punch, depth and clarity separately.

The IRC 5 Maximizer mode is the most advanced limiting algorithm in the Ozone line so far, according to iZotope, which says it raises loudness while keeping clarity. The Stabilizer module now includes 25 new genre targets for its adaptive mastering EQ.

The Custom Assistant flow lets you choose a genre or reference target, pick which modules to use, and set loudness levels before Master Assistant builds the chain. The Assistant View keeps the selected targets and signal chain together in one place, so you can fine-tune the result without starting over.

Stem Focus modes now use new neural nets for cleaner separation with fewer artifacts. Assistive Vocal Balance can place vocals in the mix with guidance from the Vocal Checker. Ozone 12 also includes earlier tools such as Imager, Spectral Shaper, Match EQ and the Vintage Compressor, EQ and Tape modules.
