Master Assistant and the Custom Workflow

Master Assistant builds a starting chain from a genre target or reference. In Ozone 12, the Custom Assistant flow lets you choose the target, switch specific modules on or off, and set loudness levels before the chain is generated.

The Assistant View gathers your preset and target selection in one place, so you can fine-tune the signal chain without digging through each module. Assistive Vocal Balance can place vocals in the mix, with a guide from the Vocal Checker.

Limiting, Dynamics and Sound Shaping

The IRC 5 Maximizer mode is the newest limiting algorithm in the Maximizer module, aimed at higher loudness with more clarity. Transient/Sustain controls let you adjust attack and body separately, and they can be applied to any Ozone module.

The Stabilizer module adds an adaptive mastering EQ with 25 new genre targets introduced in Ozone 12. Fan-favorite tools from earlier versions, including Imager, Spectral Shaper, Match EQ and the Vintage Compressor, EQ and Tape modules, are also included.
