Mastering tools and signal chain control

Ozone 12 Standard centers on Master Assistant, which builds a mastering chain from targets. The new Custom Assistant flow lets you pick from genre targets, toggle individual modules and set loudness levels. The Assistant View gathers the preset and signal chain in one place, so you can refine the result after Master Assistant builds it.

The Stabilizer module is an adaptive mastering EQ with 25 new genre targets added in Ozone 12. Transient and Sustain content can be adjusted separately in any Ozone module, giving finer control over punch and depth.

Limiting, stem focus and vocal balance

The IRC 5 Maximizer mode is Ozone's newest limiting algorithm, aimed at higher loudness with clarity. Stem Focus modes now use new neural nets for cleaner separation with fewer artifacts. Assistive Vocal Balance, guided by the Vocal Checker, can place vocals in the mix.

Ozone 12 Standard also includes earlier fan-favorite tools such as Imager, Spectral Shaper, Match EQ and Vintage Compressor, EQ and Tape modules. Apple silicon native support is included for faster processing.
