Granular Texture Engine and Pitch Modes
The core of Cloudmax 3 is a four-engine granular processor. Each grain engine can be layered, detuned and modulated independently, with grain length ranging from 1/64 to infinite. Pitch can be set in semitones or continuous values.
Three pitch modes control how the grains tune. DUAL stacks two by two grains for thick octave-pair textures. SNAP locks pitch to musical intervals, while FREE allows continuous detune and microtonal exploration.
The developer says the reverb engine has been rebuilt with upgraded DSP. CIRRUS produces long cinematic tails, and STRATOS is a flexible plate suited to tighter reflections.
