Cloudmax 3: Granular Multi-Effect Plugin by Karanyi Sounds

The core of Cloudmax 3 is a four-engine granular processor. Each grain engine can be layered, detuned and modulated independently, so a single input can become one dense texture.

Three pitch modes control how the grains relate to the key. DUAL stacks 2×2 grains for thick octave-pair textures. SNAP locks pitch to musical intervals. FREE opens continuous detune and microtonal exploration.

The Landscape Mode view shows every parameter at once when you need the full picture rather than the single-macro control.

The reverb engine includes two characters. CIRRUS produces long cinematic tails, and STRATOS is a flexible plate suited to tighter, more musical reflections. The character can be switched per patch.

A designable LFO can be assigned to length, filter, resonator pitch or any other modulatable parameter. It can sync to tempo or run free. The eight Cloud Models group changes across grains, resonator, modulation and space. Cloud-type models produce long soundscapes, while Drift-type models suit rhythmic patterns for drums, vocals and keys.

The browser filters presets by tag combinations, and an AI tagging function can tag presets automatically on saving.
