Cinematic Soundscapes and Moving Pads
The core of Analog Blur is its set of 40 cinematic soundscapes and moving pads. These are designed for atmosphere rather than melody, with the kind of slow evolution used in film and game scoring. The developer draws its reference points from classic 1980s synth-driven film music, and the patches suit scenes that need tension, space or a sense of unease.
Because the pads are built to move, they work well as beds under dialogue-free passages or as long-held layers in an ambient track. They can also be layered beneath a more prominent sound to add width and an analog flavor.
