Polyrhythmic Sequencing and Per-Step Control
Each lane has independent playback rate, swing and step length, so a hi-hat pattern can run in seven steps while a kick runs in thirteen. Per-step controls add pitch, probabilistic chance, repeats from one to nine hits and note offset. Repeats are useful for hi-hat and snare rolls, while chance adds variation to tambourine parts or fills.
The sequencer supports drawing patterns by hand, real-time recording with a metronome, and quantized or unquantized input. Per-lane duplicate and randomize functions speed up pattern building, and a Focus Zoom mode helps with detailed editing of a single lane.
