TONEX Rig is an optional effects upgrade for IK Multimedia's TONEX 2 Player that adds 76 studio-quality effects and a flexible 12-block signal chain for guitar and bass rigs.
TONEX Rig expands TONEX 2 Player with a large set of effects, including drives, fuzz, dynamics, modulation, pitch, EQ, filters, delays, reverbs and utility tools. Many of the effects are derived from AmpliTube. Rigs built in TONEX 2 Player can be moved to TONEX Board, so the same preset can be used for rehearsal, recording and live performance.
TONEX Rig gives you a 12-block signal chain for building complete guitar and bass rigs. You can run dual paths, use Split and Mix routing to send, blend and recombine signals, and place effects at any point in the chain.
A single preset can combine up to four Tone Models, including two amp captures and two stomp captures, in a split multi-amp setup. Stereo operation lets each path carry its own effects and Tone Models for wider sounds.
Through ToneNET, you can create, upload, discover and download complete TONEX Board Rigs. Uploaded rigs include Tone Models, effects, cabinets and routing.
Firmware 1.1.0 for TONEX Board adds USB audio, USB MIDI, improved touchscreen responsiveness and Scene control enhancements. IK Multimedia says new effects will be added at no additional cost for TONEX Rig owners, with the first planned for as early as late October.
