AmpliTube 5 MAX v2: Guitar and Bass Amp Simulator by IK Multimedia Free Download

AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 uses IK's DSM and VRM technologies to emulate amplifiers and their response across the signal chain. Dynamic Response Modeling is meant to keep amp feel consistent as you change gain and dynamics.

The new VIR Volumetric Impulse Response cabinet engine supports up to 2,400 impulse responses per cabinet. Up to 31 individual speaker models are available, and individual speakers can be swapped between cabinet positions on 12-inch speaker models. You can also load your own impulse responses with the custom IR loader and editor.

Two movable cab mics and two movable ambient mics let you place microphones on the speaker cabinet and adjust how much of the room you hear.

The drag-and-drop signal chain supports up to 57 simultaneous effects, with custom routing options. The stereo signal path means the chain can process drums, keyboards and vocals as well as guitar and bass.

The preset database includes gear-oriented tags and keywords and an advanced search function. In the standalone version, live performance mode lets you switch presets over MIDI.

The standalone version also includes an 8-track multitrack recorder, a SpeedTrainer tool that changes tempo without affecting pitch, and a looper that can import audio. DAW automation and BPM synchronization are supported in plug-in use.
