Amp and cabinet modeling with VIR technology

The cabinet section uses Volumetric Impulse Response (VIR) emulation, with up to 600 impulse responses per speaker. IK says its Dynamic Interaction Modeling simulates the relationships between amplifiers and speakers, along with the physical and harmonic interactions between speakers, cabinets, rooms and microphones.

The amp section includes impedance matching, and a 3D amp cabinet room lets you choose a room simulation. Dual miking is flexible, and the stereo signal path supports several application options. You can also load your own impulse responses in place of any cabinet.

Signal chain, routing and mixing

Up to 57 effects, 3 cabinets and 3 amps can run at the same time. Stomp boxes and rack effects can be exchanged, and routing for both is flexible.

A mixer combines microphone, room and DI signals and sets the master level. The interface scales to suit your screen, so you can work with more or fewer controls on view.
