Multi-Tap Delay Engine and Modulation
At the center of ReLayer is a multi-tap engine with up to 32 delay lines. Each delay time starts from a free or host-synced setting, then gets moved by swing and warp controls, which the developer describes as a way to create bouncing ball-style effects.
Clicking through the central tabs opens per-tap modulation editors for time, gain, pan and two multi-effect units. You can draw sequences for each parameter or load built-in presets, so the sound changes over time. Master low- and high-cut filters and separate wet and dry controls handle the final shaping of the output.
