Delay Models and Tones

Repeater includes 23 delay models. D16 Group describes them as authentically modeled units, based on designs such as tape delays, oil can and tuna can echoes, bucket brigade analog delays and modern digital delays.

The models span a wide tonal range. Digital 42 is described as having an early digital tone with a touch of graininess and a slight scoop. Memory Guy is described as a lush analog delay with a fat vintage tone. Telephone 1 and Telephone 2 provide lo-fi telephone tones, each with a different frequency and distortion character.

Dual Delay Lines and Controls

Repeater uses two separate delay lines, one for the left and one for the right channel. Each line has its own phase invert, audio clipper with a Color parameter, dual high-pass and low-pass filter, dry/wet mix and channel re-panning.

The plugin offers a tap function for non-synchronized delay times, optional tempo sync with the host DAW, a ping-pong mode, an analog mode for the feedback loop and a two-stage stereo spread. Presets are browsed by tag, and MIDI learn can be assigned to parameters.
