Sound Shaping in the Feedback Path
Dual Delay X places its sound shaping tools inside the feedback path. These include peak, high-cut and low-cut filters, diffusion, dispersion, and digital grit through downsampling and bit-depth reduction. Tape saturation adds warmth and drive. Together these let you control the tone and character of each repeat rather than only the overall delay sound.
UVI says the engine moves easily between warm analog tones and crunchy lo-fi digital sounds, so the same plugin can cover subtle room-style repeats and more aggressive effect design.
