Sound Shaping With Four Drum Engines
Drum Designer uses four engines: Kick, Snare, Clap and Cymbal. Each one combines a large collection of component samples with custom 3D wavetables, filtering and DSP. The Kick Designer splits the kick into Body and Tone sections. You can choose a sound for each component, adjust its pitch, gain, pan and keytracking, and set its LP and HP filters independently. You can also change the phase of the tone and lengthen it, and draw custom envelopes in the Tone Amp editor.
The Snare engine adds two noise layers with the same level of control, and the Clap engine splits the clap into three shot layers plus a noise layer. Each shot can be edited for sound, time, gain, pan and pitch. The Cymbal engine uses two noise and metallic texture layers and can be used for hi-hats, crashes, rides, shakers and more.
