Lo-Fi Delay and Pitch Effects
The Multiply control is the core of the original Prime Time sound. Each turn doubles the delay time and lowers the sample rate, which gives gritty, lo-fi echoes. Turning or automating the knob while audio plays produces pitch jumps.
The VCO section adds motion to the echoes. It can produce chorus, flanging and echoes that drift in pitch. Rate can be raised into the audio range for ring modulation, and the Adjust knob sweeps the VCO for smooth warping of the delayed signal.
