Ozone 12 Advanced Update is an iZotope mastering plugin suite for upgrading from any previous version of Ozone Advanced. It bundles 21 plugins, including a mothership chain and 20 component modules, for mastering and mix correction.
Ozone 12 Advanced Update is built for producers who already own an earlier Advanced edition of Ozone and want the current feature set at upgrade pricing. The suite centers on Master Assistant, an AI-driven tool that builds a mastering chain from target genres or references. Ozone 12 adds Bass Control, Unlimiter, Stem EQ and the IRC 5 Maximizer mode, along with 25 new genre targets for the Stabilizer module.
Ozone 12 includes 21 plugins: a mothership plugin and 20 component plugins. You can use each component on its own or combine them in the mothership chain for an all-in-one setup.
The Custom Assistant flow lets you direct Master Assistant toward a specific genre or reference, choose which modules are active and set loudness targets. The Assistant View gathers these choices in one place so you can fine-tune the signal chain without losing track of the preset.
Unlimiter is designed to restore dynamics in overly compressed audio by bringing back lost peaks. Stem EQ lets you apply separate EQ to vocals, bass, drums and instruments in a stereo bounce, so you can adjust balance without the original mix session.
Stem Focus modes now use updated neural nets for cleaner separation with fewer artifacts, according to iZotope.
