The library covers eight cowbells in different sizes, from large to very small, alongside eight woodblock sizes, a Meinl Galaxy, a Liquid Triangle and a Flexatone. Soundiron describes 42 articulations with dynamic detail and variation, including sustaining rolls and a set of Flexatone effects with a cinematic or comic character.

Each articulation is sampled in four microphone positions: Close, Vintage, Stage Overheads and Hall Blend. The instrument uses up to 10 round robin and 15 velocity layers per articulation, which helps repeated hits avoid sounding identical.

The instrument interface has four layers and a mixer, with an LFO system that offers selectable shapes, modulation targets, speed, intensity, tempo sync and fade-in time. Twelve lowpass, highpass and FX filters can be assigned to modulation sources such as velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position and a step-sequencer table.

A customizable arpeggiator provides control over direction, timing, swing, randomization and duration, and a key and scale lock keeps notes within common scales. The modular FX rack has eight slots that accept any of 27 DSP modules, and the reverb uses convolution impulse responses that include rooms, halls, chambers and outdoor spaces.
