Sound Character and Articulations

The library covers a fairly wide range with sustains, short staccatos, long staccatos and semi-marcatos, each available in multiple dynamics. The package also includes balloon pops, effects and shout-style impacts. Solo Doo and La articulations and public domain Christmas phrases from Deck the Halls and Jingle Bells were added in the 2.0 update, along with 20 ambience patches built from the source recordings.

Developer Soundiron says the performers inhaled helium during recording, which gives the vocals a distinct, playful timbre suited to unconventional sound design.

Kontakt Controls and FX Rack

The Kontakt interface offers automation-ready controls for swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, coarse and fine pitch, articulation switching, cross-fading and layering. An adaptable LFO offers selectable shapes, targets, speed, intensity, tempo sync and fade-in time. Twelve lowpass, highpass and FX filters can be assigned to modulation sources such as velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch and key position.

The arpeggiator provides a velocity table and control over direction, timing, swing, randomization and duration, and a key and scale lock keeps notes within common scales. The modular FX rack holds 18 DSP modules across 10 slots, and the reverb uses convolution impulse responses for rooms, halls, chambers and outdoor environments, plus 40 custom FX impulses.
