Soundiron says the library was recorded in a very close yet wide-sounding microphone array, with large diaphragm capsules placed within 12 inches of the drum heads. The sample set includes an average of 8 round-robin per velocity layer, with up to 14 velocities per instrument.

The Solo Elements set offers six snares, two bass drums, bongos, cajon, dhol drums, frame drums, toms, rototoms, rides, splashes, crashes, China and FX cymbals, a gong, hi-hat and ting shag. Ensemble Elements groups snares, bass drums, low and high toms, doumbeks, dhols, riqs, frame drums, sticks and cymbals.

The interface includes a custom front panel with automatable performance controls for swell, attack, release, offset, tuning and velocity response. Room release behavior can be set separately for four groups: basses, snares, auxiliary and cymbals.

The Standard presets load the full library in a classic percussion layout, and the Ensemble All preset supports custom note mapping or several common drum library mapping standards. The library also includes an adaptive meta-arpeggiator, a Megamixer with kit saving and loading, a custom FX rack and 70 convolution IR samples. It ships with 400 MIDI grooves created by Soundiron's featured artists.
