Holy Ambiences: Ambient Synth Pad Library for Kontakt

The library contains 18 sound categories built from long one-shot sounds and infinitely looping sustains. The collection includes ambiences based on glockenspiel, guitar, piano, sleighbell, organ and choir sources, plus a set of original "Holy" ambiences and "Holy Night" ambiences.

Soundiron says the sounds are rich in detail and full of unique flavor, and that most are strongly tonal while others are clustery or abstract. Choir and organ patches add warm, sustained backgrounds, and the glockenspiel and sleighbell sounds add brighter, sparkling color.

The Kontakt interface includes automation-ready controls for swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, coarse and fine pitch, articulation switching, cross-fading and layering. Twenty custom sound-designed FX presets are included.

An adaptable LFO system offers selectable shape, modulation target, speed, intensity, tempo sync and fade-in time. Twelve lowpass, high-pass and FX filters can be modulated from velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position and step-sequencer table control. The arpeggiator provides a velocity table and control over direction, timing, swing, randomization and duration, and a key and scale lock constrains notes to common scales.

The modular FX rack has 18 DSP effect modules that can be assigned to any of 10 slots in any order. The reverb section uses convolution impulse responses, including 99 rooms, halls, chambers and outdoor spaces, plus 40 custom FX impulses.
