Kazoo is a sample-based instrument from Soundiron, built around a recorded kazoo ensemble. The library contains 501 stereo samples at 24-bit / 48 kHz and runs inside Native Instruments Kontakt. Articulations cover ensemble kazoo, solo kazoo, and vocal backing parts. Soundiron also includes 30 ambiences made from the source material, so the sound can move from dry and close to wide and spacious.

Sound, Articulations and Ambiences

The library is built from a single master NKI instrument bank. Its articulations give you a choice between a full kazoo ensemble, a solo kazoo voice, and vocal backing parts, which makes it useful for both lead lines and layered textures.

The 30 ambiences provide different spaces for the same source material. Because the samples are stored as uncompressed PCM WAV files, you can also load them into other WAV-compatible software if you need to.

Controls, Arpeggiator and FX Rack

The interface offers multi-layer controls with LFO, filter, glide, and arpeggiator sections, so you can shape movement and phrasing without leaving the instrument.

The full FX rack includes convolution reverb with custom rooms, halls, chambers, and FX environments. Twenty sound-designed FX and ambient presets give you starting points for quick sound design.
