01Overview

Neo Bundle is a sample-based collection of instruments built for Kontakt. The bundle spans acoustic and electric pianos, orchestral sections such as brass, woodwinds and strings, plus mallet and percussion sounds. Each instrument ships with its own sound browser, built-in effects and a layering engine, so you can shape a sound without leaving the instrument. The collection is designed for composers and audio programmers working with music, picture and games.

Pianos and Electric Pianos in the Neo Collection

The bundle includes several piano instruments, each built from a different reference piano. Dione is based on a Steinway D and offers 10 dynamic layers sampled chromatically, along with 10 microphone positions for changing the room and close-up character. Enceladus draws on a Bluthner Model 1, and Aquarius is based on a Fazioli grand. Gemini focuses on electric pianos, pairing classic E piano tones with hybrid sounds.

Each piano instrument includes a multi-channel mixer, so you can balance sound sources and adjust effect settings for each one separately.

Workflow, Effects and Requirements

Every instrument includes 12 built-in effects, including a compressor, delays, reverb, limiter, cabinet, gainer, rotator, stereo panner and a 3-band equalizer. The full effects set is available in the settings for deeper customization.

Neo Bundle requires the full version of Kontakt. It is not compatible with the free Kontakt Player. The product lists Windows and macOS support. Both platforms recommend 16GB of RAM and an SSD for the best performance, with a minimum of 8GB of RAM and a 7200 RPM or faster hard drive.
