Sound Sources and Layering

The core of the instrument is a piano sample set with main and release samples across 12 velocity layers. Each preset holds nine layers, and you can mix from 2 to 144 sounds at the same time.

The 144 sources include the Yamaha C7 grand piano alongside horns, keys, guitars, mallets, bells, electric pianos and processed pianos. This makes it possible to build hybrid textures from acoustic and synthetic elements within one instrument.

Effects and Mixing Controls

The instrument includes 30 built-in effects, among them a compressor, delays, reverb, limiter, gainer, chorus, phaser, distortion, flanger and a 4-band EQ.

A 9-channel mixer lets you change sound and effect settings on each source, giving you control over the balance and character of every layer.
