Sound Sources and Layered Presets
Muze builds the library from 1440 source sounds, which are then arranged into presets with two layers each. The developer describes the basses as multi-sampled, drawing on analog and digital sources.
The layered structure is the main tool for shaping a sound. Because each preset combines two layers, and up to 144 sounds can be mixed together, you can build thick, complex basses or keep things simple by using a single layer. The library contains 25,920 compressed samples totaling 12.6 GB on disk.
