Nectar 4 Standard Upgrade is aimed at producers who already own Nectar 4 Elements or Elements Suite and want the Standard feature set. Vocal Mixing Tools and Dynamic EQ

Vocal Assistant offers machine learning presets that aim to fit your vocal into the mix, and an Improved Unmask feature reduces competing mix elements from its menu screen.

Nectar 4 Standard includes two 24-band Dynamic EQs designed for vocals. With Follow EQ Mode, the EQs track pitch in real time so resonances can be removed without manual editing. Inter-plugin communication lets Nectar address tonal balance and masking with other iZotope plug-ins in the session.

Harmonies, Backing Vocals and Audiolens

The Voices Module provides 11 auto-harmonies, with a MIDI mode for choosing specific notes and a Direction control to set whether voices sit above or below the main vocal.

The Backer Module creates artificial background singers in eight styles, and can use an imported acapella or a reference target. Audiolens lets you reference audio from any source and match the tone of a vocal.

What do I need to use Nectar 4 Standard Upgrade?

You need an existing Nectar 4 Elements or Elements Suite license to qualify for this upgrade. It runs as a plugin in a compatible host such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, Cubase, FL Studio, Studio One, Reason, REAPER or Bitwig Studio.

Which formats and operating systems does it support?

It is available in VST3, VST2, AU and AAX formats, all 64-bit only. It runs on Windows 10 and 11 and on macOS 12.6 to macOS 13.5.x, with native Apple silicon support for VST3 and AU.

Does it need an internet connection?

Yes. Internet access is required for activation, and activation can be computer-based or use an iLok USB dongle of the 2nd or 3rd generation.
