Mini Saron: Toy Saron Tuned Percussion Kontakt Instrument by Soundiron

The Kontakt interface offers automation-ready controls for swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, coarse and fine pitch, articulation switching and cross-fading between layers. Soundiron includes an adaptable LFO with selectable shape, modulation target, speed, intensity, tempo sync and fade-in time.

Filter options include 12 lowpass, highpass and FX filters, with modulation assignable to velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position and step-sequencer table control. A customizable arpeggiator adds a velocity table and control over direction, timing, swing, randomization and duration. A key and scale lock keeps notes within common scales, which helps with melodic writing and live play.

A modular FX rack holds 18 DSP modules that can be assigned to any of 10 slots in any order. The module list includes phaser, flanger, delay, distortion, amp and cab simulators, compressors, EQ and a rotator.

The reverb section uses convolution impulse responses for 99 rooms, halls, chambers and outdoor spaces, plus 40 custom FX impulses. Soundiron also provides 25 ambience patches built from the source recordings and 20 sound-designed FX and ambient presets, along with FX rack chain presets to start from.
