Microrgan: Vintage Reed Organ Kontakt Instrument by Soundiron

Microrgan's core is a sampled reed organ with infinite sustains and tight staccatos. Soundiron describes the tone as warm and full-bodied, with a fat, buttery character.

The interface offers control over volume, attack, release, transient offset, vibrato and octave layering. The Glide control lets you play legato and portamento lines, switching between monophonic and polyphonic playing depending on its setting. A customizable arpeggiator adds a velocity sequencer table, direction, note timing, swing, randomization and duration controls.

An adaptable LFO system offers selectable shapes, modulation targets, speed, intensity, tempo sync and fade-in time. You can choose from 13 lowpass, highpass and FX filters, with modulation assignable to velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position and step-sequencer table.

The included FX rack contains a convolution reverb with over 100 rooms, halls, spaces and special FX impulses, plus EQ, filter, phaser, flanger, delay, distortion and amp and speaker simulation. For producers building drones or soundscapes, these tools shape the organ into very different textures.
