Sound, Recording Approach and Articulations
The core of the library is a fully multi-sampled recording of the clay whistle. Sustains and staccatos are available with and without flutter-tongue rolls, and the instrument includes dynamic hand percussion articulations played on the whistle itself.
Each staccato and hand percussion articulation uses round robin to avoid repetition. Three microphone positions are available for the main articulations: Dry Studio, Hall Close and Hall Far, so you can choose between a direct, close sound and a more ambient one.
Short and long single-shot effects and stingers, including swells, crescendos and diminuendos, give you ready-made accents for transitions and cues.
