Granada 49 is built around a classic 49-key analog synth from the 1970s, sampled across nine waveform shapes. Soundiron describes the tone as fat and creamy, with sustained notes and tight staccato options. Beyond the raw synth samples, the library adds 20 sound-designed synth and effects presets and 40 ambiences that can be played chromatically as pads, drones and atmospheric textures. The instrument runs in the full version of Kontakt 5.5.2 or later on Windows and macOS.

Sound Design Controls and Modulation

The interface gives you direct control over volume, attack, release, transient offset, vibrato and octave layering. A glide control lets you play legato and portamento leads.

The adaptable LFO system offers selectable shape, modulation target, speed, intensity, tempo sync and fade-in time. Thirteen low-pass, high-pass and FX filters can be modulated by velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position or a step-sequencer table.

A customizable arpeggiator includes a built-in velocity sequencer table, with control over direction, note timing, swing, randomization and duration.

Modular FX Rack and Library Contents

The modular FX rack tab offers 18 DSP effect modules that you can assign to any of 10 slots, in any order. A multi-FX rack and reverb include 119 room, hall and FX impulses.

The library ships with 925 samples in 24-bit, 48 kHz uncompressed WAV format. Because the samples are unlocked, you can load them into any WAV-compatible sampler, plugin or DAW.

The library totals 2.05 GB installed.
