FabFilter Pro-R 2 Upgrade: Reverb Plugin Upgrade for Pro-R Owners Free Download

The two new reverb styles widen the range of the plugin beyond the realistic spaces the original was known for. The Vintage algorithm replicates the sound and character of early digital reverbs. The Plate algorithm replicates vintage plate reverbs, which suit drums and vocals.

The Space control is a single knob that moves between room models and decay times, so you can shift smoothly from small rooms to large spaces. Impulse response import, in WAV and AIFF, lets you recreate and manipulate the sound of your own captured spaces inside Pro-R 2.

Pro-R 2 supports immersive channel layouts up to 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos. It configures itself for multichannel formats when placed on a surround channel. A dedicated panel balances reverb parameter levels between the front and back of the image.

The Decay Rate EQ lets you shape how the reverb tail decays across frequencies over time, and the six-band Post EQ handles output equalization. The Ducking control lowers the wet signal when the dry signal is present, and the Freeze button holds the captured reverb tail.
