Gate and Expander Algorithms and Controls
Pro-G provides six expander and gate algorithms, including upward expansion and ducking. Attack and release curves are program dependent, so timing adapts to the signal rather than following a fixed shape.
Range, hold time and knee settings are adjustable. An optional look-ahead of up to 10 ms lets the gate open before a transient arrives, and a zero-latency mode is available when delay is not acceptable. Separate dry and wet level controls allow parallel gating.
