01Overview

The EC-300 Echo Collection covers a broad range of echo and chorus sounds in a single plugin. McDSP builds each of its three delay types around a generous set of user controls, with additional character modes per delay tape for new textures. Beyond the delay types, the plugin offers adjustable saturation, wow and flutter, delay output ducking, and in-loop filtering and EQ. Delay time can be synced to session playback or set by tapping a tempo, and the unit runs in single, dual, or ping-pong operation.

Delay Types and Character Modes

The EC-300 is built around three delay types: Magnetic, Digital, and Analog. Each type comes with its own set of character modes, so one delay tape can shift from a vintage tape-style echo to a cleaner, more modern repeat.

Saturation, wow, and flutter are adjustable, letting you push the repeats toward warmth and instability or keep them clean. Delay output ducking and in-loop filtering and EQ shape how the echoes sit in the mix and how they decay over time.

Routing, Sync and Versions

The EC-300 runs in single, dual, and ping-pong modes. Delay time can follow session playback or a tapped tempo, which keeps repeats locked to your song tempo. Level control is available at both the input and output stages.

The package includes mono, stereo, and mono-to-stereo versions, so you can choose the layout that matches your channel setup. Over 75 SIMs (Synthetic Impulse Models) are included.
