The collection covers a range of tones. U670 is based on the Fairchild 670 with a new set of attack ballistics for modern production styles. Moo Tube is an all-tube design emulation with reworked mid-range sensitivity and output frequency response. SST'76 is a fast reactive solid-state design suited to drums and percussive sources.

FRG444, nicknamed The Frog, uses a moderately aggressive compression design. D357 is the most aggressive module in the set and includes an LED-style gain reduction meter to show rapid gain changes. Opto-C and Opto-L use McDSP-designed key signal circuits, and iComp sets attack and release automatically from the threshold and ratio controls.

All ten modules sit in one interface, so you can switch compression styles without loading a new plugin. The plugin supports sidechain input and offers mono and stereo versions. McDSP lists zero latency algorithms, an anti-clip output stage topology, analog saturation modeling and double precision processing among its features.

The interface has been updated in high definition and includes new presets. Each v7 plugin uses two activations per authorization.
