Module Types and Sound Character
The 6060 covers a wide range of processing styles. Compression modules include designs based on British, Fairchild and Opto-style circuits, along with several options that support feedback and feedforward processing. Negative compression is available on a few select modules.
EQ modules include a British-style module built on McDSP's FilterBank technology, a three-band module with a steeper-slope variant, and a four-band parametric design inspired by the UREI 545. For distortion, the D-100 module is designed for aggressive, gritty tones, while the Bass Optimized Bias module adds up to 24 dB of low-end boost at a selected frequency.
