01Overview

Dual Spring is a spring reverb effect built around two independent spring modules. Each module offers five spring materials, from Lead and Iron to Copper, Silver and Gold, and the developer notes that each material has its own sonic character. A blend knob lets you mix between the two springs, so you can combine two distinct tones in one effect. The plugin is available in VST3, VST2, AU and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.

Spring Materials, Tone and Decay Control

Each of the two spring modules has its own material selector, so you can pair two different spring types in the same reverb. The tone knob moves the sound from mellow to bright, and the length knob sets decay from 10% to 200%.

The stretch option extends the usable range beyond the normal decay, letting you set the length of the spring itself. For each spring, a mono/stereo switch selects the output mode and a pan knob places the reverb signal from left to right.

Blending Springs and Interactive Controls

The blend knob sets the mix between Spring A and Spring B, from A only to B only. Because the two springs can differ in material and settings, the blend control gives you a range of textures without loading a second effect.

The springs also respond to touch. The developer describes this as real-time manipulation of the reverb, with audible feedback, which is useful for creative sound design beyond standard reverb settings.
