Arturia describes the plugin as a re-engineered emulation of the Neve 33609, known for a warm, smooth stereo response. The diode-style compression is aimed at bus channels such as drums and the stereo master, and the developer says it also adds tightness and harmonic richness to vocals and instruments.

The limiter section is intentionally colored rather than transparent. Even when protecting peaks, it adds a distinct warmth, and tightening the threshold brings out a noticeable crunch. A Unit Calibration control reduces headroom and adds more harmonic character as it is raised.

The compressor offers slow and fast attack settings, makeup gain and a variable attack time for adjusting punch. Mid-side processing lets you compress the middle and sides of a mix independently.

For sidechaining, the plugin provides internal or external input, sidechain listen, look-ahead control and a built-in sidechain equalizer. An analog and digital level display, along with a resizable window and integrated tutorials, rounds out the interface.
