Compression Controls and Sound Character
Richter uses a deliberately small set of controls. One dial sets how much compression is applied. A second, Transients, determines how the internal envelope follower reacts to transient peaks compared with sustained, continuous sounds. Together they let you shape the sound quickly.
A three-step boost switch extends the amount range for more extreme settings. A tonal control adjusts the tone of the processed signal, and a real-time graph shows the compression behavior as you work.
